Northern Israel

These are the villages where I work. (The spelling is different from the spelling I used below because the spelling varies from map to map when written in a language other than Hebrew or Arabic.)

This blog is dedicated to Junior High and High school students in northern Israel, in the villages of Rama, Maghar, and Boue'na Nujidat. 

The students and I will work on different activities that will help them improve their spoken English. We'll primarily focus on using poetry and short stories to create an interactive learning environment.

From time to time, the students will also write their own poems based on the poems we use in class. Those poems will be posted here.

Hopefully, the students will be courageous enough to create videos of themselves reciting the poems. We'll post those videos here, too!
